Prism Rezonance is happening!!!

The annual New Years Eve Pilgrimage has begun. The very best of Vortex Productions and Alien safari come together again to stage another New Years Eve extravaganza. It starts on the 31st of December and runs until 2nd January 2009. This year the venue has been moved to an even more ideal place; A beautiful untouched estate nestled deep in the heart of Franschoek. The area has beautiful mountain surrounds, huge trees with grassed camping and a massive dam to swim in.

Twelve international acts and over forty local dj’s and Bands ensure this a festival not to be missed by any means. Huge daylight screens have been especially flown in to ensure maximum on stage graphics for both stages. Some of the top décor specialists will ensure an awesome look to the party. This is going to be a massive production says Colin and Simone from Prism. We are going all out to make this one bigger and much better than ever before.

The legendary Rezonance Festival 2008 returns with two stages featuring top local and international acts pumping multiple music beats including Psy-trance, Drum 'n Bass, Techno, Chill, Progressive, Dub, Breaks and much more.

The venue is only open from 12 noon on Tuesday 30 December. Tucked away behind the beautiful Boschendal Estate is this untouched wonderland. The venue lends itself to the perfect party. Huge grassed camping zones, with a dance floor surrounded by trees- You are in for a treat. The venue has a huge dam for swimming , sailing and just spiffing out on a lie low. It is the one venue where you can get lost by yourself even though there are thousands around you. Shaded camping, Nice toilets and showers will ensure a comfortable ride into the new year…

Phamatix

Paris based Stephane Rault, one of the top contemporary French psytrance producers currently electrifying dance floors worldwide, draws the dancefloor into an epic journey taking them to a new level.

Digital Talk

Digital Talk is Julien Fougea and Luc Achintre, electronic psy producers based in Paris, France. Staying true to the original spirit of psychedelic trance they create holographic sounds layered on top of strong rhythmic beats creating an environment for spiritual and energetic dance.

Napalma

Napalma a Brazilian-African fusion musical explosion includes powerful electronic dance grooves, percussions and rhythms from the rich Afro Brazilian musical heritage. Samba, Baio and West African is mixed with a performatic impact and inspiring vocals in Portuguese, English and Shangaan.

Rudimentals

The Rudimentals perform the ultimate 21st century Pan African Ska party, comprising of dance-hall raps, reggae rhythms and a skanking back beat of vintage 70's Ska, with a brew of mbaquanga riffs and jazz and blues tones. This multi-layered musical offering is composed by 8 extroverted individuals, where youth and experience is blended into what is known as The Rudimentals.

Goldfish

Goldfish needs no introduction - the success of this electronica phenomenon is extraordinary. These unassuming surfer/jazz muso/electronic maniacs have been propelled into the stratosphere, with a cult-like following and numerous #1s hits. Combining live instruments like Double bass, Saxophones, Keyboards, Flute, and Vocals with Samplers, Effects, Synths and a healthy dollop of freeform improvisation, Goldfish have hit a nerve on dance floors across the world.

George Barker

George Barker, one of the original Goa Djs, one of the founders of Flying Rhino Records and part of Slinky Wizard is in a class of his own. A major player and contributer in the development of the scene as you see it today, George's sets are currently influenced by the progessive side of trance that are uplifting, sonically tuned and will bring happiness to dance floors world wide.
